3 Key Aspects to Consider When Launching a Fashion Product

As a long-time model and fashion-enthusiast, I have always wanted to have my own fashion product. And recently, I've fulfilled that destiny of mine too. Do you want to know how I did it or what are the things I had considered prior to my success?

Let me share everything.

1: Being Innovative with Design

No matter where you go, almost every modeling training institute in Kolkata will tell you that being creative is essentially the first step to become a model.

So, when I thought about having my own fashion brand, I had to bring out my inner creative self as much as I could. However, that's not all.

While being innovative, I also had to ensure that whatever I am creating is offering a unique value proposition. After all, that's how a business can flourish, right?

So, like me, if you, too, are considering creating your own fashion brand, here are three tips I will share with you -
  • Think about ways to generate them inexpensively.

  • Create a simple technical sketch and provide instructions to your pattern-maker and supplier to ensure the correct shape of your product.

  • Size is a key factor to keep in mind, as modern consumers are especially focused on getting the right fit.

2: Creating a Marketing Mix

Due to the fierce competition in the fashion market, I had to take into account the impact of marketing.

Why?

Well, being associated with a highly profitable marketing strategy would help your product reach the right audience.

For example, if your target group spends a lot of time online, not expanding the business in the online world would mean the brand would lose out on numerous opportunities.

Therefore, it is crucial to find the right marketing mix.

3: Having a Profitable Pricing Strategy

As a new entrepreneur, my primary goal was to make money, obviously. However, if I made the pricing of my products too high, it’d make people go away, not get attracted to it.

So I had to find a balance and tried to put the price of my products as low as I could. But yes - I made sure that I make at least 10% profit through the sales. This is a strategy followed by almost every affordable fashion institute kolkata.

So, yes, it’s a proven option, especially for a business.

Conclusion

Tiptoeing in the fashion business can be really difficult, if you don’t have a good foundation and plan. So, I will suggest you develop those first before you take the next step.
